Hairfall since a month

I am facing immense hairfall since a month. My Hb is 12.5 g/dl; I am not taking any kind of stress; my menses are normal and regular. I have been applying minoxidil 2% since 20 days, which didn't show any result. What could be the cause of this hairfall?
