Hi,
I don't think this is the right time to start the exercise. I would advice you to wear brace to support the knee and apply cold packs as it will help you to relieve your pain. Once the pain completely subsided take guidance of the nearby physiotherapist to initiate the exercises. The more vigorously u do exercises there are more chances that you might hurt the ligament too.
First of all you have to heal your ligament sprain before you start the exercises.
So that your knee exercises will not hurt you.
You should start with simple basic exercises.
Grade 1 requires rest not intense exercises.
Depending on the condition, some times taping is required to perform exercises but very little and should not put pressure on the affected area.
Do icing twice a day and give it rest as much as possible.
Hey there! Causes can be many for your pain. The pain can be because of vast muscle weakness also in one leg. It's quite difficult to suggest. May be the exercise regime is not suitable for that leg. Please consult online for better suggestions. It is not advised to continue exercise.
Kindly take online consultation pls
Wheather it will might be because of the soreness of exercise done excessively.
OR
Another reason might be of improper surgery of acl
Grade 1 tears usually heal relatively quickly, often within a few weeks, with proper rest and rehabilitation. Do treat continue RICE( rest ,ice, compression, and elevation)
