As you may know, the tooth is made up of outer hard enamel, inner dentin and innermost cavity is filled with nerves and blood vessels. Pain comes in the last stages of tooth decay, and that is when only a permanent filling will not suffice. On the contrary, that will worsen the issue. In case you are not convinced that you need a RCT, you may take a second opinion, but do not postpone the treatment. Infection once set in keeps progressing, making it difficult to save the natural tissues. Tentative cost range in our clinic: Permanent tooth colored filling Rs. 800 to 2500 depending upon the extent of filling RCT Rs. 4000 to 8000 plus Rs. 2000 for core buildup (which is required before cap fitting) Caps Rs 3000 to 28000 depending upon the material and technique used

The cost of any treatment varies from dentist to dentist as well as upon the materials and techniques being used. Root canal treatment can range from 2000 to 15000 rupees and a single cat can range from 1500 to 25000 rupees. Treatments like root canal treatment are done under local anaesthesia and absolutely painless so you should not worry about that. Please try to avoid the delay in the treatment before the symptoms aggravate further. Regards
