Hello doctor, im pregnant with 7week and got spotting,. Doctor prescribed me to take hcg injection.. I have seen in goolgle its showing hcg injection are not recommended during pregnancy.,it will cause birth defects in babys. Is it true?

HCG injections are given to prevent misscariages and usually very safe for the baby. HCG is a hormone produced by our body as well for maintenance of pregnancy.
