Dear doc,my baby has suffering from typhoid from last 8months.we are consulting with a pediatric,he diagnosed her 3times and the reports are always positive with the typhoid infection...her wait is 14kg.i try to give her food, fruits and dry fruits as well but she is not gaining her weight and height.so on this stage can i give pediasure to her with food and fruits...i  was asked to my pediatric that can i give pediasure to her he said these kind of things are fashionable try to give her home cooked food...i try to give her proper diet but sometimes she dosen't like them to have,so i wan't that if she don't like to eat sometime then i give some liquid supplement to her which can give her proper nutrition but i m confused about pediasure can you suggest that this supllement is good for my baby then started to give her pediasure...

U can give pediasure no harm, but home made fresh foods are always better for your baby, if you don’t give proper diet pediasure will not give any benefit, get your child Urine RM done from good lab to rule out UTI , it’s very unlikely your child had Typhoid , it can’t be !!!
