Heart failure
Hello sir,
My mom was suffering from heart disease and therefore pacemaker was implanted in the year 2010.But in July 2017 she went for check up and after programming everything was fine.After 5 days of checkup suddenly in the evening her heart failed and she died within minutes.What may be the reason.Is it pacemaker malfunction or other reasons ?

No body can comment on the reason without knowing the complete history of the patient.. Heart disease can range from heart attacks to heart blocks. Other diseases like diabetes or hypertension also play a important role.
Without knowing the details of her medical history and the details of the event leading to death No body can comment on the exact reason.
As for a pacemaker, it only works to increase the heart rate if it slows down.
