Heat Prickles
Hi doctor, i am having 6 months old daughter, she started getting heat prickles on her face and shoulders... Feeling bad to see her like this, pls suggest.

Hello sir...I understand your concern and feeling towards baby condition...Babies and children can also get prickly heat rash during hot or humid weather because their sweat glands are not fully developed...In most cases, heat rash will clear up on its own in a few days if the affected area is kept cool and dry.... Avoid excessive heat and humidity and cool off with a fan, give a cool shower or bath and let the baby skin air dry, or if you have air-conditioning, use this to cool the environment.... Consult nearest dermatologist or pediatrician they will do the needful.
