Heaviness in right ear
Hi doc, From last one week I am feeling some heaviness like congestion in my right ear. can I use candibiotic? Kindly suggest.

Thanks for your question.As per given history it may be ear wax or it may be allergy to pharyngotympanic tube.- needs further confirmation before starting medications.

It can be due to wax causing ear block which feels like heaviness or can due to nasal  problem causing heaviness in the ear because of eustachian tubal block. Candibiotic ear drops are used in fungal infection which can cause severe ear pain, block and some times swelling.

Heaviness of you ear can be due to simple wax to ear infection . Firstly don’t clean your ears with any object . Get a ENT consultation done to diagnose the problem . Candibiotic is useful only for fungal infections confirmed on an Ent consultation.
