Height developments and growth plates
After age of 15 I have a x-ray. my hand growth plate was fused..can its is normal..at this point of time all boyes hand growth plate was fused??? . after my hand growth plate fuse... what year my leg and spine growth plate was fused...???can I grow..my height is 5.3 ..dad.5.7.mom 5.3

Different bones have different points of growth. Few are primary, others are secondary. Now, growth depends upon fusion of these epiphyseal ends. Usually, in boys, growth surge begins later than girls, generally after 16 yrs and goes upto 20-22 yrs.
