Herpes testing
A partner told me that he tested + for herpes type 1 on his genitals. He told me (after we had unprotected sex) that he had received oral sex from a girl with a cold sore, but hadn’t noticed any symptoms so he assumed he was clear. However later he did see symptoms and was positive. I have had no symptoms myself and I would like to test to be sure, however I get cold sores on my mouth so I know I already have the virus in my system. Is there a way for me to test even though I show no symptoms?

Herpes will produce clear fluid filled blisters around mouth area and genital area. If that develops you can take consultation for treatment. Cold sores in mouth are different thing than herpes.
