Hieght growth
My height growth stopped...i m 17 now...and my hieght is just 5'6"...and i also do regular exercise and strenghting.....and i also go to gym from 1 month......have gym a bad effect on our hieght ?or is it just a myth??? ....so what should i do to increase my hieght.

Height can be increased. Although height is genetic you can increase your over all height by 1 to 2 inches by doing postural correction. You can meet a physiotherapist for the same. Basically you cannot increase your bone length but you can increase the distance between your disc and reduce body curve or we call it as lordosis. So by reducing lordosis you can actually show your self taller. Stand in the door way and try to reach for the ceiling with your head, this will help correct your posture. Second do core exercises in core ball, this will strengthen your core muscle. 1 to 2 inches is possible. Cheers

Hello ,gym has no bad effect on height . Height depends majorly on your genes. Its depends how heighted everyone is in your family .apart from that you may increase height by exercises , hanging on bar, cycling and swimming. For males height increases till 18-20 years of age once all your bones fusse it is difficult to increase height .
