High blood pressure
I am suffering from hypertension from February 2019. That time it was 220/140. Then i was asked to start taking medication. So now it has come down to 130/92. However, sometimes when i m in stress it goes up to 150/100. Please advise. I have been doing lifestyle changes like avoiding junk food, brisk walk etc. I have done my blood tests , 2D echo and ECG. Reports are normal.

Hello... sometimes people tend check their BP just after having tea/coffee, smoking or after some vigorous activity....in these situations your BP is most likely to be elevated. Hence you should check your BP before taking caffeine and you should rest for atleast 30 minutes after any physical activity before checking you BP....You have to be compliant with your medications. You should exercise for atleast 30mins everyday. Have a low salt and low fat diet. Avoid seafoods. Avoid too much stress.
