Her oral intake has not been good since last 3days and is a bit cranky too. Should we get her investigated for Kawasaki? Should we b worried? Plz help

Kawasaki usually fever of more than 5 days, eye findings too..but atypical presentation cannot be ruled out.Better to get clinical examination or blood investigations to have peace of mind & possible avoidance of heart related complications.

Kawasaki is a vascular disorder which presents with Fever which is characteristically high spiking (≥38.3°C [101°F]), recurring after medicine, and unresponsive to antipyretics(fever medicine). The duration of fever without treatment is generally 1-2 wk but may be as short as 5 days or may persist for 3-4 wk. In addition to fever child may have redness ans swelling of palms and soles, redness of eyes, redness of tongue,Rash allover the body and swelling of glands in neck.
Next Steps
The bleeding from lips cant be explained by kawasaki..  apply good lip balm n keep lips moist.
Health Tips
Atypical Kawasaki may not have all symptoms as above and if delayed treatment can have harmful consequences.. I would suggest a check up with Pediatriacian online/offline.
