High level of uric acid
Is it okay to intake nuts like almonds, cashew nuts since my mom's uric acid level is 6.5 mg. Could you please recommend me some DO'S and DON'T so that I can help my mom to control her diet so will help to reduce her high level of uric acid.

Kindly confirm from the lab. that 6.5 mg uric acid is a abnormally high level and needs treatment. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your mother in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plgus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my you tube channel Dr NC Gupta Yoga Simplified). This is not high uric acid level. Hyperuricemia is defined as serum uric acid level > 6.8 mg/ dl. Its pretty common in many people. For further detail and discussion, consult a Rheumatologist if needed.

She should avoid high protein diet like Eggs,Meat,Soybean, Pulses,MILK ,cheese ,Almonds .etc Consult dietitians for diet modifications.

Is she having pains anywhere? High uric acid does not mean its goit. She should avoid high protein diet.
