High myopia query
Hello doc.. i am high myopic in left eye and less myopic in right eye. i am under regular retinal check ups from childhood. my reports state that i have a shallow posterior staphyloma in my left eye as a result of degenerative changes in retina. is this staphyloma something serious or progressive?? can this cause loss of vision in that eye in future or any other issues. please help sir!! Thank you.

it may remain as such through out the life.its progression may be harmful. continue regular check up.
