Hello.. Mixtard insulin are not good choice because they are not the one with physiological mimicking actions... So most of the times sugar control is not no appropriate in whole day...
Consult endocrinologist and consider putting you on basal bolus regimen or other options if possible in tablets..
Keeping sugar uncontrolled is not good for your organs like kidney, eyes, heart and nerves..
