HIGH SUGAR PATIENT WITH CYST ON BACK
My mother is a sugar patient with a sugar level of 385 and 270(fasting). She had a cyst in her back which first appeared 3-4 years back, it dissolved on its own but suddenly reappeared few days back. its size was very big and had pus inside it. It got dressed few days back. After this my mother is suffering from high fever and is feeling weaker day by day. Doc asked some blood tests whose report has these things which are not normal. SGOT - 47 LYMPHOCYTE- less than normal Neutrophils- more than normal ESR- 30 Haemoglobin- 10 Can you please check and let me know what can be the possible causes of high fever and weakness

High fever is because of pus filled cyst... In diabetic pts, wound heals slowly. She needs admission to hospital and take IV antibiotics. BSL is also deranged...inj insulin is needed..so better to consult physician

As diabetes itself is a immunocomprmized state, wound healing is delayed.Pus discharge needs further evaluation and source of spread of infection leading to fever.Get evaluation done.
