Hip one side mascular pain
Hi, My wife is suffering from HIP mascular pain and one side leg pain due to this from 1.5 months. Doctor has took X RAY BUT their is no fracture in that. He has given some painkiller for 4 days and vitamin D 3, calshium tablets for few days. My wife has also taken 4-5 physiotherapy IFT machine sessions but still when she walked for more than 200 meters then it pains. Now doctor has suggested to do MRI Of L. S. Spine and screening of the both S. I. JOINTS. I need suggestions on above. Also on below 1) is it really necessary to do MRI? BECAUSE I belong to very middle class family and it would take around 5K TO do MRI. 2) any cheaper rate MRI IN Pune?? If it is must to do MRI?? Many thanks for the suggestion

Consult an orthopedic or spine surgeon for this pain so that he will evaluate the gravity of your complain clinically and then suggest if MRI is necessary. As the symptoms you are presenting here is of radiculopathy, and not just hip pain.
Next Steps
or else go to a physiotherapist who is spine specialist and get evaluated for her spine and start conservative treatment for the same.
Health Tips
take complete bed rest and avoid bending forward, lifting weights.
