Hip pain in left side. Playing again.

6 weeks ago I was playing basketball and somebody chargered into me and after the game I was stretching and I couldn’t lay on that side at all and I couldn’t sit down for a long time and sometimes would have to stand up most the time to relieve the pain. Sometimes it would hurt to walk but it was mild pain, the pain went from a 7-4 but now in this fourth week it’s gone to a 6 and it hurts again to sleep on it and sit down for a while. The pain is on the outside of my hip and as I said the pain goes towards my left bum when sitting down and I feel the pain in my hip and bum when laying on it. For the first two weeks I was taking ibuprofen and stopped playing basketball for a week so I’ve stopped playing again.
