Hoarseness of voice
Am suffering from hoarseness of view since last 4 months. After performing direct laryngoscopy, a nodule was found on the vocal cords. Dr suggested micro laryngeal surgery. Is there no other option other than the surgery for treating it?

Vocal modules should be treated by voice therapy initially, rarely they need surgery and if needed it should be done after adequate voice therapy.

best option is LASER assisted Microlaryngeal Surgery...it does not even require regular hospitalisation...just a short daycare procedure...discharge within 2 hours after the procedure!
