Hi I have a 8 month old daughter. I have given her all the compulsory medicines that were required. My homeopath had adviced not to give flu vaccine as everyone may get flu once a year. However for my knowledge I would want to know the effectiveness of flu vaccine. does it really help?

As children frequently get coughs and colds up to 4-5 years of age,it is definitely better to give the vaccine
It has 70-75percent protection
No side effects except for feve which may come with any vaccine

2doses should be given with 4wks apart after months (1st at 6months and 2nd at 7months)
And thereafter every yearly
It protect baby from influenza virus (swine flu)
It's always better to give influenza vaccine.
