How to cure pain in testis left side

I am a 32 year old male. I have suddenly developed pain in my testis on the left side since the last 3 days. I have not injured myself or anything of that sort. It is a sharp pain which comes suddenly and then settles in the next 3 to 4 hours. What should be done for this?
