Hi,
One of my friend who is suffering from anxiety and sleep issues has been prescribed with lorel 1mg tablet and he s taking it continuously for past few months on a daily basis. How to make him stop taking those and what are the side effects for this tablet?
For anxiety related sleep issues which department doctor would be able to help better? Please help with required information.

Taking over a long period of time on daily basis can cause dependence. If it's difficult for him to stop and still having issues regarding anxiety or sleep then he should be shifted on some other medication.

Lora is an anxiolytic. I suggest you to taper to half dose and stop, if you wish to stop.
Start regular exercise, yoga and JPMR from YouTube for anxiety.
