I, science graduate,33, have been known that fever and high WBC count are defence mechanism of our body to protect from some infection. But my blood reports for CBC showed low count and I have fever since 5 days. How are low WBC count and fevere related to each other?

it could be dengue, typhoid or other viral infections in which total count gets reduced but still fever is present. kindly consult a physician. you might need to check your platelets
