Hsg test anesthesia
Hello.. i have been prescribed a hsg test to check if my tubes are blocked. My gynae said that she will inject a contrast dye via cannula. She said that anesthesia will be given to prevent discomfort. My question is that is anesthesia general or local? If local, is injection given in vagina or cervix? I am quite terrified. Kindly help me out here.
