My friend (female, 27+ years, weight -62 kg) had a fever a couple of days ago. Since then her blood pressure has shot up (140/100). She is experiencing shoulder pain as well. Usually she has a low BP. The doctor hasn't prescribed her any medication yet, rather asked to control her weight. Can I have some additional suggestions/ suggestions regarding medication for the problem?

If she is an average Indian height girl her weight is fairly ok.
