Hypothyroid - AMA
Being a hypothyroid patient, i understand that nly need to monitor our TSH .. monitoring AMA (TPO Antibodies) is not important However after reading few other articles in online .. High AMA may damage the Liver tissue or will arrive liver related problems ?? How true is this ?? (Does AMA for liver and AMA for thyroid are two different things ?) If there is prone to damage the liver .. then how to avoid that situation (precautionary steps)

AMA of liver is Anti mitochondrial antibody and AMA of thyroid is Anti microsomal antibody. So, they are different.
