Following hysterectomy with or without conservation of ovaries osteoporosis is a common problem,u can prevent it by taking regular calcium and vitamin d3 supplementation.Its also better to get a DEXA scan for measuring bone density. Depending on the scan your orthopedician may prescribe you Bisphosphonates or hormone replacement therapy.
