I had a ligament tear
I had torn my ligament but i did not treat it but after around one year i feel better and can do most things but not as fluently as before

Please consult your orthopaedic. If examination reveals a complete tear of ligament, get it operated otherwise the knee cartilage will get damaged and there will be permanent damage to knee which will not get healed by any procedure. You might loose more than u can gain by delaying surgery.
Next Steps
Do not delay treatment if you are diagnosed with a complete tear.
