Hi. A root canal treated tooth is filled after the RCT is completed. If after one year, the restoration is not broken, then you can go for the cap. However, if the filling is broken, get the x ray evaluation of the treated tooth to see if the RCT filling is okay. If ok, Get the core build up done and then the cap.
