I have vitiligo on lips and fingers.
I have vitiligo on lips and fingers on my hands and legs. It started spreading from last 2 years. I have taken medication from various doctors but no chage and it's spreading. Below is the medication i was prescribed 3 months back, Kuvadex 20mg tablet - morning followed with sunlight. Cyra 20mg tablet - morning as soon as i wake up. Whit Care lotion - to be applied on affected areas at night before sleepingexcept lips. Tacrolimus cream - to be applied on lips only at night. Can we cure my vitiligo?

Hi ! Thanks for your query. Vitiligo is an immune system mediated skin disease which can be brought into remission by certain medications and life style changes. Now it is believed to be a multi system disorder that can have other auto immune comorbidities. A proper assessment to determine the presence and severity of these comorbidities is needed. Lip and hands/Feet are difficult area to treat and most resistant.
