I think I'm on the wrong meds.
The medication I'm currently on makes my brain feel like mush. I take anti-depressants. I can't concentrate on anything to begin with, and these meds make them 10 times worse. My current doctor won't listen to me when I explain this to her. I have tried stimulants before, and I was able to concentrate and do the things I love to do again. I am not sure if there is anything out there that treats both my depression and lack of concentration. Any suggestions?

Yes , there are medicines that do both. Some details of your treatment would be good to comment further on this. Depression often presents with poor concentration along with persistent low mood and other symptoms. Remember, stimulants have addiction potential. Be frank with your psychiatrist and explain your situation. Also if situations persists you can always take a second opinion. All the best!
