Hd a colonoscopy last week..Found nodularity in terminal illeum.. Biopsy was made and the report of Biopsy came as "mild lymphoid hyperplasia"my gastroenterologist said "it's just nothing" he didn't even gave a medicine fr tht but wanted to know, Is it something serious like inflammation or chron's disease

Lymphoid hyperplasia mean that there is/was a previous infection that is fighting by the body. There is no need for you to worry as long as its not painful and causing and disturbance in your bowel habit. It's the body's own way of fighting an infection
