In grown toe nail.
I got a swelling near my toe nail earlier this year. I checked it with my regular doctor. He told me it was an ingrown toe nail, and that I require surgery. Surgeon had my nail removed in February and the swelling went, there was no pain. Now my nail has grown again, and yesterday I found out that there is a swelling again. And there is pain, not much but it is. What do I do? Will I have to do the surgery again? Is there any other option?

Total removal of the nail is not the treatment for ingrown toe nail. We needed to do partial nail avulsion with cauterisation of the base. It is the best treatment for ingrown toenail nail as the side of the nail which causes the problem stops growing into the skin. Please call me and visit my clinic for proper examination and treatment advice
