Infection formed on the operation wound
My mother had her tumor operation in uterus, the doctors operated on her abdomen and didnt stitch, instead they used some sort of glue to attach the skin. Its been 4 weeks since her operation but recently her wounds became reddish and pus started to form with small bloods coming out. She is highly diabetic. We cant stop the pus or the redness around the wound of her operation. What should we do??

You must consult the operating surgeon. Wound infection can occur in a diabetic person, postoperatively. You need to take a follow up with the surgeon and I am sure, you will taken care of by certain investigatiins, wound dressing and if needed, appropriate antibiotics and drugs.
