Infection in urine
My 3yrs old daughter having fever last 15 days so i have done urine and blood test.after that we find out her tlc is 25000 and pus cell in urine 20-25 hpf.so her dr.advised some antibiotic injection jst like cefixime and amikacine for 3day and after that syrup alkasol and some antibiotics zifi,renoflox,so dr plz tell me about what can we do for reduse infection freqently and this treatment is good for her condition plz tell me its worrying condition or not.

Your doctor is giving correct treatment only. Check in culture report whether it is sensitive to the antibiotics given. You have to give atleast 2 weeks of antibiotics. You have to go for USG abdomen and MCUG to look for kidney anomalies. Give plenty of water and good genital hygiene can prevent repeated urine infections. Hope this helps.

To prevent recurrence... U must ensure proper cleaning after passing motion. That is u have to clean from front backwards not vice versa. Secondly,Have to prevent and treat constipation if it's there.
