Inflammation in fingers
My finger has inflammation and has puss stored in it. I tried draining out the puss last week, and it became normal, but the inflammation returned today, and I again punctured it and double The amount of push oozed out. Within 5 minutes of doing so, it got swollen again and now it's just blood that is oozing out. Clotting has stopped the blood flow. I've had this problem few times earlier too due to my habit biting nails and the skin next to it. But never has it been so severe. I'm taking this particular antibiotic: Cefixime 200. Can you help me out?

hello...... well the details u have given is fair enough. It is the paronychia which has occurred. If there was collection of blood , it would have been far more better, if it was drained completely by a proper surgeon with proper instruments under sterile circumstances. Using unsterile techniques will only worsen the things. Now its better take a personal opinion by examination from a doctor before any untoward complications happen. U can consult me as well.
