Injections on IUI
Hi, iam 30 yrs female. Planning for pregnancy from 3 1/2 years.
My period cycle is 26 - 28 days and it is regular. Iam not able to conceive due to little lower sperm count.
My fallopian tubes are open.
My follicle reports are also very good( doctor said).
On day 10 - My right ovary has 3 follicles - 2 of 14*14 and 1 small follicle
My left ovary has 2 follicles - 1 is of 21*14 and 1 small follicle.
Decided to go for IUI. One doctor told me that they will start giving injections from day 3 till day 6 or 7, again on day 11th or day 12 th hcg will be given.
Please let me know the injections usage??

Your Doctor should explain all details of injections to give you before IUI
Usually we give injections to promote follicular growth. You are adv IUI because you are 30 and need to get pregnant as earliest as possible.
The HCG inj are given for final maturity of the matured follicle and for rupture of the same.
