My mom has recently treated for gallstone now her GBD is successfully removed & stiches are heales how long she has to be on insulin?

If her blood sugar levels were controlled on tablets prior to surgery and if there is no other issue which would prohibit their intake (eg kidney or liver problems etc) , she can definitely be shifted to oral medicines.
