Intense back pain
Have intense lower back pain for the past 1 week. The pain intensifies whenever there is movement. The pain started in the lower left side of the back near the tail bone. I doubt it is sciatica. I want to ask which doctor should i consult to? An orthopedist, a neurologist or a physiotherapist?? There is also a cancer history running in the family. Kindly help.

Consult a Neurologist. Get diagnosed first. If it's just muscle spasm, medications will do. If it's compressive causes, you may need surgery opinion as per the severity.
