Intense burning under leg cast when elev
I fractured my fibula at the talus level and also injured my deltoid ligament. I had closed reduction, splinted two weeks, been in a fiberglass cast for 2 weeks. The past few days when I lie down or go to bed about 5 minutes later I get burning everywhere under the cast, my toes turn red and get hot, I get a small numb area infront of the heel then I feel hot everywhere and start sweating, but no pain. Is this an urgent situation? Next appt in 8 days. Can I wait to see my doctor?

You should get the plaster removed urgently...
There might be skin problems underneath..
