Hi,
I am concerned regarding a recent tetanus vaccine taken intra musclar injection.
I think the nurse was not professional. She tried filling the injection without needle . I am not sure if the glass ampoule was broken cleanly and suspect few glass particles or powder glass would have fallen in the glass ampoule and then I was injected with it.
Please advise what could potentially happen if thats the case and in how many days I would get symptoms .
Thanks

As suggested by the history, there is nothing wrong in the administration of injection till she followed universal precautions such as using a new syringe, cleaning the site before putting injection and disposing the syringe thereafter.

There is nothing wrong is loading an injection without a needle. Let's assume to the contrary that a few glass particles were also loaded into the syringe. However, the bore of the needed is so narrow, it will allow nothing to pass through it, except the drug. So, rest assured, the glass was not injected to your muscles.
Please don't worry.
Do u have any symptoms on the site of infection? If no then ur over anxiety is causing restlessness.
Nothing to worry if the universal precautions r taken
