Iodized calcium test result 1.51 mmol/L
Hello,
I have gone through Iodized calcium test and my result are as 1.51 mmol/L . Is this seriaous. What all measures I need to take

The upper limit of normal is 1.35 mmol/L. But don't worry. Calcium reports must always be interpreted along with patient symptoms. And ionised calcium can vary with blood pH.
Check your serum total calcium, phosphorus, serum albumin and serum alkaline phosphatase.
I'm curious why serum calcium was done for you in the first place.
Symptoms of high calcium are excess thirst and urination, bone pains, etc. If you are having any of these, just consult a physician.
Dehydration, Fast breathing, Fever are some conditions that shift ionised calcium above normal range.
