Irregular Cycles – Thyroi
I have irregular periods and I've gradually put on weight through the the past year. So I took a Free Thyroid test to check if it was the reason. And my TSH level is around 6. And as per my knowledge, I found it to be higher than normal. Is there any way it can be brought back to normal? Will it affect my reproductive system (capability) in any way? What should I do to reduce the TSH level? What are the precautions I should take to control it? Should I consult a gynecologist? Please suggest.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  You first need to get your thyroid profile again and then consult a gynaecologist in person for further evaluation and management.  PCOD also needs to be ruled out which will be taken care of by the gynaecologist.  Best regards.
