Irregular Periods
I had been having irregular periods from February last year.I was having spotting for a few months and then again normal periods for one month in the last year. Then at the last half of the last year Is tarted having periods very frequently .For example I used to have spotting on my date and then after two days I used to have normal period for a day and then the period used to stop altogether and then again start in a week's time.I consulted a local doctor who ran some tests along with an USG. All my reports were normal so the doctor started me on hormone treatment.I am on a 21 day pill and then 7 day off.My question is how long will this treatment have to be continued to have a regular period. Are there nay harmful long term side effects.I am getting married next year will this treatment have any adverse effect on my sexual health and future pregnancy? Are there any alternative treatment to hormone options?
