Is eating Dates bad
She is age 55. What would be a diet to control diabetes as she would not reduce the amiunt of rice in her diet. Is eating Dates bad for diabetic persons?

Hello, Dates are very good for health from heart point of view but if you are suffering diabetes then you need to avoid taking dates as a part of prevention if increasing blood sugar levels. And there is no compulsion that they should be totally avoided they can be taken in limited amounts such as 2-5 per day would do. Diet is to avoid fatty, fried, oily/ greasy foods, stored foods, sweets, etc. To have is salads of veggies and fruits except chickoo, melons, mango, grapes, Bananas. And coming to the other diet you may have roti, dal, rice, oats, wheat this would do. Thank you
