Is ichthyosis contagious
My friend in school has a weird skin.He is 17 years. When I asked him he said that he has got this itchthyosis disease. Is this a contagious condition. As I sit next to him, will I get the disease also. I have started getting lot of itching since few days all over my body. what could be the reason?

Some varieties of Ichthyosis are Hereditary, but it is not known to be contagious to others.
