Is methimez is steroids?
My doc prescribed me methimez 20mg for Hyperthyroidism. Now, Suffering from Hypothyroidism since one year I'm taking the same doge as doc had prescribed

Methamizole is a anti thyroid drug used in treatment of hyperthyroidism. It is not a steroid. Since you are using it for long time it has decreased your thyroid function and caused hypothyroidism. You may need to reduce the dosage so that your thyroid function recovers
