Is there ant risk in pacemaker
My father is 64 years old. His heartbeats are very irregular. And he has also undergone once bypass surgery. Yesterday his cardiologist has advised him for a pacemaker. So before putting in the pacemaker I wanted to know that are there any risks in it? Will it completely rectify the problem? Will he be able to retain it?

I think you are talking about CRT. it has shown benefits in patients with low ejection fraction. But dont expect magic or wonders after that.
