Is this toenail fungus?

Asked for Female, 19 Years

A few days ago the side of my toe started hurting & it sort of felt like an ingrown toenail to me so I looked at it, but found nothing suspicious. I left it and it only hurt that day then stopped. I just looked back at it again like half an hour ago and realized the side of my toe had changed color slightly. Could this be toenail fungus?
